The point is that you are very unlikely to see results on your blog, despite your efforts. Why? Take a look at the planning factors that go into a site. Judging by your monetization it seems you're trying to copy John Chow. But what works for him will not work for you.

I'm glad to hear you're seeing increased traffic, but from where? Organic traffic or social? There is a big difference in sustainability and in terms of income potential.

In fact, if you were to take a step back and re-create your blog with the proper planning you could start seeing success within 4-6 months.</description>

I have only been doing the blogging thing for 4 months so I'm not expecting much right now.  The domain name is not ideal but my traffic has been increasing at a steady pace every month.  I will keep working and see what happens.</description>
